Look guys a new post! XP

I suck at keeping up with this thing. Time flies by so fast and life in general just loves to throw me curve-balls even when I'm at my breaking point. But I will admit there's not a day that goes by that I don't learn something about myself, others, and this crazy world we live in. So I try and take all the good, the bad and the insanity in stride.

Moving on...

I've been off and on with my sweepstakes entries as of late, I've won some cool little things but nothing too big recently. I did however snag a couple prizes that were just plain out awesome! I won a $500 gift certificate to a clothing store (turned out they had nothing I liked and honestly nothing in my size either) so I gave it to a close friend as an early Christmas present, and you know what her gift to me was? A brand new Coach purse with matching Coach wallet!!!! Now let me say this, I've never been one to really care about high-end name brands but there is just something about Coach that I am smitten with! Every time I go to the store in the mall (or the closest outlet store) I'm always mildly afraid that the sales associates will kick me out for drooling on their floor. (And that was a joke by the way, I don't really go around drooling all over store floors....although it's tempting in some cases!).

But anyway I also won 2 tickets to Halloween Horror Nights, a parking pass and 2 more 1 day/2 park tickets to Universal/Islands of Adventure from a local area tv station! I took my roommate along and we of course had a blast at HHN, and since we were able to save money by not having to buy the tickets we were able to indulge in an Express Pass which made the night extra great! If anyone reading this is not familiar with Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Nights, it is a FANTASTIC event but extremely CROWDED. Line times usually range between 30-90 minutes per house depending on when you go. So yeah if you want to do everything (houses, rides shows, etc.) investing in that Express Pass is a must! The other two tickets I have for regular park access expire at the end of this month. Quite frankly I don't have the funds to help with parking money and gas to get out there right now (parking is like $11 and it's about an hour and a half-ish drive from where I am), nor do I have it to spend on pricey food and drinks. Sooooo my best friend is getting what I would say is a pretty awesome gift for her birthday. I'm giving her both the tickets and I told her the only condition is she has to take someone who hasn't been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter yet. That part of the park is MAGICAL (in my little humble nerdy Hogwarts loving opinion) and I think any fan of the books and/or movies should have the chance to experience it.

Well I'm running out of things to write about for the moment, it looks like I still have no followers so I guess I'm just writing all this for myself and the individuals out there in Internetland who happen to randomly come across my page. But you know what? It's all goooood! XD
